The backpack--which is actually a pair of saddlebags that rest over your dog's back--is made of a lightweight material with poly fleece inner surfaces, keeping your dog comfortable and the pack stable on extended trips and hikes. Your dog will enjoy additional comfort via the pack's breathable back panel, which eliminates hot spots and chaffing. And when you're on the trail, the pack holds quite a bit of gear, including dog bowls, food, waste bags, toiletries, extra socks, and other items. The gear is secured safely inside your bag thanks to the large zippered side pockets.
The dog backpack--which includes an integrated ring that attaches to a leash--easily adjusts to provide a custom fit for your dog's shape. The pack is designed for dogs weighing between 40 and 90 pounds and fits girths up to roughly 34 to 35 inches. This backpack is not recommended for shorter breeds, such as Boxers.
